Esto recurso se centra en la menos conocida historia de las contribuciones hechas por los latinoamericanos para los derechos humanos internacionales, especialmente después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y en los años 1980 y 1990 durante un período de aumento de la justicia transicional. La conversación continua con Sikkink habla sobre los malentendidos sobre las raíces de los derechos humanos internacionales. This toolkit was created from a discussion with Kathryn Sikkink, professor of international relations and human rights at the University of Minnesota. It contains one material: (1) a recording.

This resource focuses on the less-known history of the contributions made by Latin Americans in the field of international human rights, specifically following the Second World War and in the 1980s and 1990s during a period of increased transitional justice.  The talk continues with Sikkink speaking on the misunderstandings on the roots of international human rights. The second half is composed of back-and-forth questions from the audience to better understand and develop the information.
